If you are travelling and want to do any sporting activities, you may want to find an insurer who will cover any claims which may arise from the particular sports you intend to do.

Insurers vary in how they cover sporting activities:

Some insurers will cover most sports without an additional premium however some terms and conditions may apply such as instructor supervision.
Some insurers may only cover a sport without an additional premium if they are made aware of which sport you intend to participate in while you're travelling.
Other insurers require an additional sports premium be paid at the time of purchasing a policy.
